This simulation tests the likelihood of a Mage becoming an Abomination in the Dragon Age RPG based on the Magical Mishap rules outlined in Set 2. Simply enter the Mage's Ability values for Magic and Willpower, set the spell's Target Number, check off which focuses the mage has, and click "Start Test."

"Has Spell's Focus" should be checked if the mage has the focus for the spell he or she is casting. For example, if the mage is casting Mass Heal, check this box if he or she has the Creation focus. Remember that for spells that don't have a prerequisite, there is always 0% chance of a Magical Mishap.
